EU-FRANK is pleased to launch a set of materials aimed to facilitate the work of resettlement practitioners within national administrations
Over the course of 2017-2018, EU-FRANK experts from Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and Sweden have assessed and compared working materials they use for resettlement purposes. After consulting with other states as well as UNHCR, IOM and EASO, the project found opportunities to refine several existing tools and make them available for more countries, as well as to develop new materials.
Consequently, the project now introduces a set of tools that can be tested by resettlement practitioners, by download from the website. The tools are presented in a locked pdf format but include some possibilities to insert additional information and adjust the content for national purposes. While some tools can be used straight away and in their current format, others provide guidance and examples of how documents can look, or how resettlement activities can be carried out by national governments.
We would like to encourage those who use the tools to provide us with feedback, in order for us to be able to further refine the materials. After finalization of the EU-FRANK project, the materials will be handed over to EASO for adaptation and incorporation into its toolbox.
The tools are available on the Resources page on this website.
A few additional tools will be uploaded in April-May 2019.
